Starting in August, 2022, Agencies will have the ability to decide if officers can find their own replacement for jobs when they call off from a job. Agencies that enable this feature will let officers choose a specific officer to replace them, or broadcast to all eligible officers that they need help covering a job.
LEAs now also have the ability to specify how far away from a job start officers are allowed to call off from the job. This feature is available regardless of officer replacement settings.
Only agency users with administrative permissions can enable the officer call off feature. If you do not have administrative permission, contact your administrator.

Officers will see this feature in the mobile app when they select the “call off” button for a job that they have been assigned to. Depending on the settings that the agency has enabled, they will be given the choice to search for a specific replacement officer, or to broadcast the job.
If an officer searches for and finds a specific officer to replace them, they can send a note along with a push notification to the receiving officer. The receiving officer will then choose if they want to accept or decline the request. The receiving officer can also see the job in a new “replacement requests” filter in the “find job” section of the app.
