In September 2022, RollKall enhanced the Officer Replacement feature in the RollKall mobile app. The Officer Replacement feature, when enabled by the agency, allows officers to find their own replacement for a job when they need to call off, either by designating a specific replacement officer or by broadcasting a request for a replacement.

With Officer Replacement, an officer can withdraw their replacement request if they decide that they can work their assigned job after all. This now applies to officers who designated a specific replacement officer, as well as officers who broadcasted a request for a replacement.

The process for withdrawing the request is the same - open the job from “My Jobs” on the RollKall app, and select “Cancel Replacement Request” from the menu.

Please note that the request cannot be withdrawn if another officer has already filled the request.

This feature will be available to users in late September.
