One of RollKall’s chief concerns is the financial wellbeing of law enforcement officers. In addition to helping connect officers with opportunities to supplement their income, RollKall offers several RKinsurance options to safeguard that wellbeing in the event of an accident when an officer is working an off-duty job.
That includes a workers' compensation option that provides for an officer’s lost wages from being out of work, all medical expenses in case of injury, and legal costs.
Many agencies pass the cost of workers' compensation on to the businesses that hire officers. In May 2024, RollKall made improvements throughout the platform that make it possible to break out and display workers' compensation as a line-item cost, increasing transparency for all users.
Workers' compensation is an optional feature and does not apply to all agencies. Workers' compensation was accepted or declined by your agency during the setup process, and applies to the whole agency.
For more information about adding workers' compensation to your agency’s plan, please contact your account executive. If you would like for your agency’s invoices to break out workers' compensation as a line-item cost, please contact your account manager.
Officers who are not covered by the workers' compensation policy, but who are interested in additional coverage, may opt-into RollKall’s Occupational Accident Insurance on an individual, per-job basis, provided that the client will be paying for the job electronically through RollKall.
