Rolling 365 Assignment Rules

Rolling 365 is a job assignment rule that lets users assign jobs to officers who have worked fewer hours over the past 365 days.

When creating a job, you will see a section of the page called “Officer Approval & Assignment Rules.” This section includes an option to assign jobs “By hours.” This setting will assign the job to the officer who has worked the fewest hours over:

• X days
• Year to Date (beginning from January 1 of the current year)
• Rolling 365 (beginning on today’s day of the previous year)

For example, if today is July 1, 2022, and “Rolling 365” is selected, and two officers have applied for the job, the job will be assigned to the officer who worked fewer off-duty hours since July 1, 2021.
