Faster Payments to Officers for Off-Duty Jobs

Faster distribution of payments

Starting in June, 2022, RollKall moved to a new payout schedule for officer payments. This means that officers get paid faster after working off-duty jobs through the RollKall platform.

How does this affect the speed of payments

Previously, payments were made to an officer one time per week each Wednesday after a client paid their invoice. Payments are now made daily rather than one time per week. Therefore, after a client pays their invoice, an officer can expect to receive their payment two business days afterwards which is the standard bank processing time.

This change only affects officer accounts. Department accounts receiving payroll or fees will continue to be on a weekly schedule.

What to expect

This update is automatic and there is no action required by any user. There is also no change to the RollKall app or RollKall platform. Officers should notice that they receive payments faster automatically.

Expediting payments

Instead of waiting for the standard processing time for payments, officers still have the option of expediting payments immediately after submitting an invoice. This process means that officers can get paid within minutes, even if the client hasn’t approved or paid the invoice. See here for information about convenience and processing fees, and terms that determine availability for each job. This option is only available for jobs that are reported on an officer’s 1099.
